This Privacy Policy explains how Verida Group LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal data when you use the Tailor résumé-building service (the “Service”).

2. What we collect

  • Account data: your email address and login credentials.
  • Profile data you provide: name, contact details, work experience, education, skills, links, and an optional profile photo.
  • Job descriptions or job-posting URLs you submit for tailoring.
  • Generated résumés and your edits to them.
  • Purchase data: handled by our payment processor; we receive confirmation and your customization balance, not your full card details.
  • Technical data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service, and your IP address, which we use to apply free-tier usage limits and prevent abuse. We store only a hashed form of the IP for this purpose.

3. How we use it

We use your data to provide the Service: to store your profile, generate and store tailored résumés, process purchases, and maintain security. Our legal bases are the performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in operating a secure Service.

4. AI processing

To generate a tailored résumé, your profile data and the job description you submit are sent securely to our AI provider, Google (Vertex AI), which processes them to produce the output. We do not use your data to train public AI models.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us operate: our hosting provider, our AI provider (Google), and our payment processor (Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for purchases). We do not sell your personal data.

6. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your profile and résumés at any time, and deleting your account removes your associated personal data, subject to records we must keep by law.

7. Your rights
